For Expecting Parents

It’s important to book a prenatal appointment before your baby is born to discuss your baby’s care and answer any questions you may have. It’s recommended that you schedule this appointment late in your second trimester or early in the third trimester.

At the hospital your baby will be checked up regularly. Before going home, an appointment will be booked for your baby’s first well-check visit. This appointment should take place within one to three days after going home from the hospital.

Well-Check Visits

Regular checkups are important to monitor your child’s growth and development and can help the doctor identify any problems early on. At a well-child visit, the doctor will address all health care and developmental concerns you may have about your child.
